It's 00:15, I've been playing Mario Kart World but I've mainly been building out that page on this journal. I did the Mushroom Cup and time trials on each course.
I ended up staying awake playing Mario Kart World till around 3:30 with a good friend. We raced all of the Knockout Tour Rallies
Sarah and I went out to Urban Ore to check for some storage for records. We found it at IKEA in the form of four fabric KALLAX ready boxes that happen to fit records. They don't have the deal for Tuesday IKEA Family members anymore (at least, that's what the staff member I asked seemed to think).
Here are some photos from the outing:
I saw this walking around the building supplies of Urban Ore and I swear this is some solid hula hoop making stuff, but I don't have connectors and I haven't hooped in so long... I met someone on the BART last week, we can call them "S" and S told me about a circus meetup at Dolores Park. The name ringed a bell, but I couldn't tell if I'd been to it before, and I certainly haven't had a circus day in a long time. I wonder how well I can juggle clubs still. Maybe I should pick up my Yo-yo again.
Here was the final haul. The record was a random pick since we needed one to measure out the boxes we wanted to get. If either the PS4 and Xbox360 game works, it likely covers the cost of the whole pull. The popcorn maker (cut off on the left side of the photo) was $8 and was Sarah's find.
Tubs. So many tubs. I wonder what they cost. I'll need to ask and find out. Couldn't be too much. I wonder what they do when it rains or if turnover is that good.
You can get cassettes and laser disk here.
The VHS tape selection had been picked over
This caught my eye, since Hitchhiker's Guide uses the same font. Something something design.
Kinda crazy to see them asking $300 for this TV, I think MADE has multiple. But this one is in great shape. $1 a pound, that's what folks say about CRTs.
I think photos and writing about them is a more effective way to journal than what I've been doing before. This workflow is great. I should detail it more over on n2-n.com but I don't have a lot of drive for that. I'm mainly worried about work. We need to fundraise rather urgently so even though these are my days off (Tues/Weds) I'm still thinking about MADE when I'm not distracted by Sarah or Mario Kart World or writing here for msnyng.com.
Tomorrow 2025-06-11 we go to the Nintendo Store again to pick up Sarah's Switch 2. She's using mine right now to play Breath of the Wild. It looks really nice on the Switch 2.
It's 20:29 time to think of dinner.
It's 21:32, I didn't think of dinner. I looked at plugins for Obsidian till I ended up on Cloudflare looking at a list of all of my domains:
angrybread.com
hexcross.com - 2019 MetaHobby Game
hexcrush.com - idk why I grabbed this, it sounded like a game name now I'm just paying for it I guess.
metahobby.com - My 2019 Game Studio with my friends at 42
msnyng.com - This site.
n2-n.com - This site for this workflow.
pixel-smithy.com - 2019 MetaHobby Game
qst0.com - my art Page
qst2.com - links to qst0
qst4.com - links to qst0
rn-s.com - four "letter" domain I have parked for a decade. "Really Nice - Server" I've called it before.
sqwuish.com - a Domain I bought for Sarah and then didn't use. Getting the site up and running with n2-n might work to help her blog about food, gaming or anime.
Anyway, now I have to figure out food or at least just start winding down from screen staring.
I want to play more Mario Kart World lol. 21:38
