City of Heroes

This was an MMORPG where you did missions to make your hero, or later villain stronger. You could chose from different powers. I remember playing it but not with much detail. I wonder what age I was or if I have any other recollection of it. I seem to recall it being grindy but that's something a lot of mmorpgs were back then.
