23:22 and I'm finding more stuff that I should note over in the n2-n project but I'm lazy. Linking images takes a bit of work:

You need to [![[image.webp]]](<link goes here>) which is kinda goofy and I haven't figured out the best way to link in a way that works internal and external. I'll test something now. Wait that won't work. Hmm... no idea here unless Export Vault to HTML is ready for this.
You also need to switch into Reading Mode on Obsidian if you want to click on the image.

Oh yeah! It works! Just one glaring problem, the file linked needs to have no spaces (or I need to figure out what it wants, it didn't want them \escaped so maybe url form like %20)
I guess... Now I gotta try that out lol. 🤩 it worked out so well that when I updated the name of the file, it was updated automatically everywhere. Just more secret sauce you gotta know to get the details sorted out. %20 that makes me wonder if + works 🤣

I'm trying out some emoji too. I'm sure that works. It's only 10 minutes till tomorrow. This link was made like this: [tomorrow](2025-06-18.md) it shows as blue in the reader but dark purple as a visited link when in reading mode, unlike the other links. Now to test what it does on publish.

A full build from end to end still only takes about a minute. 7 Seconds or less to build on my laptop, and then about 30 seconds to deploy via the CF worker.

The shortcut to Export Vault to HTML stopped working correctly when I moved the publish export folder outside of Obsidian. Now I need to click the button and export. I am not sure exactly why. But it's not the worst... would be nice to fix but it certainly beats having to select all of the files, which was part of the reason the public folder was moved.

I decided, just now at 22:41 that I'm going to add the latest entry at the top of the document. This is how all of my older journals worked, but for some reason when I switched over to Obsidian, I switched back? I don't know how my brain works sometimes.

It was spurred on by my previous (now at the bottom of the page) entry on My Hero Academia Vigilantes. Which reminded me that I can't use a : in the title of a page. But maybe I can make it an alias? My Hero Academia : Vigilantes boom.

Maybe I should try to take a "Photo of the Day" and put it at the top of each entry? I could also just make a property that is named after one of the files which already have a pretty standard format: 2025-06-16 - 12.webp for example. So I could just set some property and that could be the thumbnail for the header and maybe thumbnail or whatever?

I don't think I even dropped my photos for today and it's late so, here it goes:

It occurred to me to take a photo so I would have something to show in my journal. For some reason these are showing in reverse order... wait. It's because I copied them off

Brutus would be $45 / $53 to have washed. I'll feel better now when I wash him that I'm saving so much. (I just learned this rationalization I use in jest is called "Girl Math" and I love it, well as far as I understand it. It's like when I say the switch 2 cost me only < $10 an hour because I've already played for 60+ hours) Whoops ramble.

This wasn't today, and should be moved over to be shown in MKW but since the file is already here it can live here too why not! It's smooooth.

I found out that if you search "my watchlist" on google you can see a list of movies that you have google searched and clicked the "want to watch" button. The only movie in my list was "Pervert's Guide to Ideology" which you'll find in the bottom corner of this screen shot:

Because as soon as I added that one, I wanted to add "... guide to cinema" and it had me thinking a bit about how movies have effected me. affect? I think it might be affect this time. Yeah it is. Anyway. Affect. I was affected by "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" since it was kinda crazy to see as a super young child (maybe like 4 or 6 y/o). I was into "101 Dalmatians" and it makes sense, it was being promoted due to the live action version being created. I slammed a few more that triggered onto the list, spoke with Sarah and remembered some Disney direct-to-tv "movies" and some silly ones we watched as middle schoolers, I couldn't recall too much. It was kinda strange. I bet if I saw a list of movies, I've seen a bunch OMG "The Matrix" needs to be on there, all three. Heck, all four. I saw the fourth one and yeah boo way to kill it. Google will think I like this crap tho. I should find another way to track these, but this is low effort.

It was spurred on by the Volunteer Meeting at MADE yesterday, we had a "what movie have you been thinking about or want to see?" as an ice breaker:

Paprika was mine. There were others but I didn't note them all, these were just left open in tabs and led to me exploring that feature of google search. It's a weird one! Oh I found another tab for a movie called "Aniara" and I'm glad I found it. I think it's in Swedish! So I certainly would like to try and watch it with Swedish subs and learn a bunch before we go. Oh, btw I don't think I've wrote about it yet: Sarah and I are going to Sweden for our friends' wedding!

Anyway, that was kind of a tangent and I was thrust into wanting to share the wall of movies I had thought about / affected me while I was growing up. Again, I'm sure I've forgotten some that I really should put on that list but this was a fun experiment / first draft if I was to try and dive into this again. It's now 18:10

Earlier today we took the dogs for a walk (that's right, we have dogs) and I slipped into IKEA to check out the As-Is section. It didn't have anything I wanted enough to buy. When we returned home we did laundry (or rather, Sarah did I just helped move the stuff) and I've been relaxing the rest of the day. I keep thinking about MADE because it's a really amazing place but since it is also my work I need to practice shifting away from a work mindset. This hasn't been a skill I've developed. Actually, I've tried my best to always find synergies between my work and hobbies since I think that's a great way to live life. Also a reason why I think of work all the time since I am always thinking of the mission of the museum in my day to day life.

Sarah is playing BotW and we got some Amiibo from the Nintendo Store since she wanted to try them out. I know enough about NFC that I urged us only to buy them to mainly enjoy as statues since I own a device that can act as an emulator for NTAG215 NFC and there are many databases of Amiibo sets online. So I grabbed my Flipper Zero and we tried out the ones we didn't buy. So many chests dropping from the sky! Her favorite still was the one she purchased for herself: Wolf Link! I grabbed Majora's Mask Link since it has a drop chance for Fierce Deity equipment! You can scan them once every 24 hours.

I've updated 2025-06-16 + 2025-06-15 and created 2025-04-05 since I mentioned the date. I'll continue later ddt oh yeah, can't do that without Typinator and I don't want to spend $40...

It's 19:45. I'm having the last of the Zuppa Toscana that Sarah made for me on 2025-06-15.
When I return, well, never mind I just went ahead and did it. I populated the Food, Topics and Zuppa Toscana page. It's now 19:52. Time for that soup it's likely not as warm now!

I'm looking into MKW and it's online presence I found this map:

Which is pretty reasonable but very unfinished because I also saw some rumor/spoilers that there are almost 400 P Switches and around 200 Peach Medallions along with 150 ? Panels

It's really cool to play a new game, so new the data on it and guides you can find are not even complete! A physical guide would be cool to make but would be tough and I'm sure there are some licensing issues or something. How did guidebooks and unofficial whatever work? On the publishing and legal side? I'm not very knowledgable on law and I have a feeling it doesn't always get followed or enforced enough to matter to some actors.

Sarah is watching My Hero Academia Vigilantes and we still haven't put all the laundry away. Just being lazy. I'll probably play MKW or just chill... been getting stuck in my journal a bit.

Kinda just getting lost in My Hero Academia Vigilantes now. I'll make it a page. Would be nice to keep track of all the Anime I end up watching since Sarah has it on all the time.
